The Patient/Family Services Volunteer provides various services as needed or requested to patients and their families including supportive care, comfort, and caregiver relief.
REPORTS TO: Volunteer Coordinator
Education: Completion of hospice volunteer training program.
Core Competencies: Ability to deal with death and dying comfortably and demonstrate good listening skills. Willingness to participate in on-going programs and peer support groups. Make a time commitment of one year to serve a minimum of two hours a week as needed.
Other: Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
